What is Art-Afloat?

Art-Afloat has already taken artists to beautiful places such as Venice, Rome, Monaco, Athens, St Tropez and Portofino with other wonderful locations along the French and Italian Rivieras, Corsica, Sardinia, Spain & the Canaries, Madiera and Azores, the Dalmation coast & Greek Islands, Barbados & the atmospheric Caribbean.

However, they are not always abroad! Art-Afloat trips also take place in the UK, mainly in the Eastern Region on smaller craft and yachts. Explore the beautiful rivers Alde, Ore and Deben in Suffolk, or on the Waveney, Norfolk Broads and Essex estuaries.

The package price given upon enquiry can include your accommodation, art equipment and tuition, both on-board and ashore at wonderful locations – all dovetailed into the vessel’s schedules and excursions.

Please note: Spaces on the Art-Afloat holidays are deliberately limited to enhance the friendly, small group atmosphere and numbers do vary depending on type of trip and the actual vessel, with usually between 6/8 to 10/15 for yachts or barges, 12/15  and 10/20+ for river or ocean going cruise ships.

On most Art Specials the package price will show where travel to and from the vessel is included.
