About the
paintings Each work is usually based on a half sheet of top quality 300lb Waterford or Bockingford watercolour paper which gives an approximate size after mounting of approximately 715 x 535mm (28 x 22 inches), although works can be created to suit any particular dimensions - they are supplied after professional mounting and framing which includes an individual detail window with wording to mark the occasion/date/name, etc Commissions cost from £500 including all reasonable expenses and framing - smaller paintings from £250 Some original paintings and limited edition prints are also available for sale Hire your own

About the
Artist Born in Suffolk, Richard started drawing and painting at a very early age and has always held dear "a great love of all things natural" He exhibited at the famous Gainsborough's House during his Sudbury schooldays and after diverting to fine art from an extensive highy successful career in publishing, marketing and design held a first solo exhibition in October '95, going on to blend tuition with his unique "Around Britain Watercolour Collection" project Richard's sensitive approach to art tuition has gained him a large following, who benefit from his friendly approach to developing individual styles in whatever medium, and he continues to work locally, nationally and internationally You are invited to contact him personally at his base in the heart of the beautiful Alde Valley to discuss your own unique piece of "history in the making" or requirements, times dates and venues for workshops aimed at helping everyone to enjoy creating their own art The innovative solo "Around Britain" project has seen many close associations formed and continuing work with The National Trust, English Heritage, RSPB and the like... Richard is also happy to give presentations on his "Around Britain" project for: Charitable Fund Raising events Chambers of Commerce Breakfast Clubs, etc |
